Alternative to replacement bus services on the S11
During construction work on the S11 line between Cologne-Mülheim and Bergisch Gladbach, Call a Bike offers a flexible alternative to replacement bus services.
Bikes are available at the S‑Bahn stations Holweide, Dellbrück, Duckterath and Bergisch Gladbach, allowing you to reach your destination independently and at your own pace.
Important: Please make sure to return the bikes to a Call a Bike station to avoid a fee for returning them outside the service area.
Station relocations for better mobility
The City of Cologne is making mobility more environmentally friendly and keeping public spaces well organised. As part of this effort, some Call a Bike stations are being moved closer to existing mobility hubs to bundle different transport options and make switching between them easier.
Depending on the location, a station may move just a few metres; in some areas, the distance can be slightly longer.
Important: Please return your bike only to the stations shown in the Call a Bike app to avoid additional fees.

Getting to the LANXESS arena is now even easier: Via the pedestrian and bicycle bridge at Opladener Straße, you can reach the arena quickly and directly.
With Call a Bike, ride right up to the entrance passage, park your rental bike at the new station and walk comfortably to the entrance. Ideal for all events – flexible, sustainable and without the hassle of parking.
